How Do You Detect Pot Bound Bonsai?

Identifying whether a bonsai is pot bound requires a hands-on approach. When roots densely occupy the soil, stopping further growth, it signals the need for repotting. Compacted soil intertwined with roots indicates the necessity for either root pruning or a larger pot to accommodate growth.

When and How Often Should You Repot Bonsai?
