How to prune a bonsai.
Pruning is an important part of growing bonsai. If you allow the shoots to get too long, you will find that the leaves closer to the trunk drop and the bonsai starts to look very straggly. Pruning your bonsai regularly will encourage new buds to form further down the branches, and creates a neat look. Check out our video for more on how to prune a bonsai.
Pruning, or not pruning, a bonsai can completely change the overall appearance of a bonsai. It is also a lot of fun!

We regret that we are unable to refund or exchange any bonsai after 7 days of delivery. This is because they are live plants and we find that after this time they have been out of our care for too long.
However, we are always here to help; if you have any questions about your bonsai, please send us some photos. Thank you for your understanding.
